This is, like, the perfect S4. If you don't buy it now, it'll be gone...... FOREVER. You MUST buy it.
Do it.
Doo eet.
If you don't it will haunt you forever!
FOREEEEVVEERRRR!!!!

![]() 12/11/2013 at 18:27 |

Yes. Yes you do want that blue manual S4 Avant.
Hold onto that thought.
:-P
![]() 12/11/2013 at 18:28 |

Do it, absolutely. The repair bills aren't your concern yet.
![]() 12/11/2013 at 18:28 |
|
I'm on the brink of making a very rash decision.
![]() 12/11/2013 at 18:29 |

A rash can heal. Regret cannot!

Apparently the B6 isn't that bad. Still not fantastic. And the engine is the updated 2006 engine with only 60k on it. URGG!
![]() 12/11/2013 at 18:31 |

This is the wrong crowd to ask if you should buy an AWD 6MT dream of a wagon. I'd be happy to talk you in to it?
![]() 12/11/2013 at 18:34 |

I was planning on buying a B7 A4 Avant without a V8. But then this happened and I have a want, a lot of want.

An absolute baby of an engine. It's just not a car you want to keep forever, really.
![]() 12/11/2013 at 18:38 |
|
That. Looks. Awesome.
Please buy it.
![]() 12/11/2013 at 18:39 |

It's a good thing I bought a new car fairly recently or I would be embarking on a road trip.
![]() 12/11/2013 at 18:41 |
|
I'm seriously considering it.
![]() 12/11/2013 at 18:49 |

You'll probably regret it, but you'll regret not buying it even more.

(That response is coming from someone who just bought a 6-year old goddamn V8 BMW. So... Judge my judgement however you see fit.)
![]() 12/11/2013 at 18:55 |
|
I bought a 26 year old BMW that didn't start as my first car so.... Whoops
![]() 12/11/2013 at 18:57 |
|
Ah. Well. Clearly you don't need convincing. Cheers to good bad decisions!
![]() 12/11/2013 at 19:29 |

13 mpg. Yeah its that bad.
Apart from that its freaking fantastic.
You'd be insane not too.

NA 4.2L with 320HP.
![]() 12/11/2013 at 19:43 |

whoops brain fart.
Particularly embarrassing considering my dad drives the b7.
![]() 12/11/2013 at 19:46 |

The B8 is a Supercharged V6, not particularly impressed with it however.
![]() 12/11/2013 at 19:47 |

Yes. Can't keep my shit straight today. Must be the Cruze. Its sapping my inner jalop.
![]() 12/11/2013 at 20:26 |
|
Wait, did you say talk you INTO it? Buy it!!!
![]() 12/11/2013 at 20:59 |
|
it had the updated chain guides.
my moms A6 failed there..it was $14K to fix...its already been addressed it may be under warranty from AUDI. See if you can get aftermarket warranty somewhere on the engine.
DO IT!
The chain housing was teh only really really dangerous part.
![]() 12/11/2013 at 21:19 |
|
Honestly I just looked in to it and all you have to do is drop the engine to fix the chain guides if they fail, that's a weekend long job which really isn't a concern for me. Do I want to pull the engine out of an Audi? Nope. Could I? Yeah, and I could deal with it for this car...
![]() 12/12/2013 at 10:14 |
|
The ad said it was already replaced? The problem was the original we're plastic they should of been replaced with metal ones.
You have to drop the engine and dis assemble front end completely.
![]() 12/12/2013 at 10:59 |
|
Yeah the ad says Audi replaced it in 2006 with the updated guides. And yeah the whole front has to come off, just like my buddies B5 S4.

roll the dice and get it...see if you can get an extended warranty just incase since its a new engine...I think you'll apprecaite it in the end...thats a great V8
